The Best Global Leaders... Ahead of the Curve

Passionate About Inspiring Others

Dr. Mary Anne Walsh enjoys working with a variety of interesting leaders helping them soar in their careers to be in the top 10% of their organizations.  She is an Executive Leadership Coach bringing a strong background in global understanding honed while living and working in New York City, London and Tokyo. She develops talent by providing services for organizations and individuals on executive coaching, career management and cross-cultural organizational issues.

She brings to each engagement more than twenty years of experience coaching senior leaders in Global 500 companies. Coaching is about change and change is a psychological process.  With a background in counseling, Dr. Walsh has a psychological orientation in working with clients.  Her approach is to blend support and challenge to help executives use coaching as a learning opportunity to impact bottom line results in their organizations.  Executives often partner with her because her style of “making you comfortably uncomfortable” accelerates their growth as strong focused leaders.  Her interest in leveraging neuroscience to develop leaders has been recognized as an effective tool in her coaching process.

This trusting coaching partnership is successful because of her ability to adapt to the unique circumstances, learning styles and personalities of each executive as well as from the commitment and courage of these leaders to look closely at their patterns of behavior.

 A Sample of Projects:

  • CEO of global media company acted as the smartest person in room, workaholic, had a tendency to talk over others, creating low morale. His health was at risk.  Our coaching helped him let go of old behavioral habits, understand why he behaved and felt the way he did and to prioritize what mattered to him. Negative views changed, staff trusted him, he listened.  Launched new projects that generated significant revenue.

  • Head of Risk groomed to be CFO.  Coaching to support the transition.  Very smart, he was at risk for burn out.  He learned how to delegate, set priorities, shift leadership styles in meetings and how to set boundaries between work & home life.

  • A dedicated CEO realized his old leadership style of command & control was no longer effective. He was micro managing and inflexible. He learned why he had trouble “letting go” and did it.
